Library Rules & Regulations

General Rules
  • Carry your valid library card/student ID at all times
  • Maintain complete silence inside the library
  • Mobile phones must be kept on silent mode
  • Handle books and materials with care
  • Return borrowed books within the due date
  • Keep your belongings in designated areas
Prohibited Activities
  • Food and beverages are not allowed inside
  • No loud conversations or group discussions
  • Damaging or writing in library books
  • Tearing pages or removing books without permission
  • Using library resources for non-academic purposes
  • Sleeping or loitering in the library premises

Borrowing Guidelines

Renewal Policy

Books can be renewed once for the same duration if no other member has reserved them. Renewal can be done online through the library portal or by visiting the circulation desk.

How to Use the Library

All enrolled students automatically receive library privileges. Use your student ID card as your library card. New students can activate their library access at the circulation desk with their admission documents.

Use the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) available at library terminals or access it remotely through the college website. You can search by title, author, subject, or ISBN. Library staff are always available to assist with your search.

Yes! Students can access e-books, online journals, and databases remotely using their college credentials. Visit the library section on the college portal and use your login details to access digital resources 24/7.

Report the loss immediately to the library staff. You will be required to either replace the book with the same title and edition or pay the current market price of the book plus processing charges. Your borrowing privileges may be suspended until the matter is resolved.

Yes, if a book is currently issued to another member, you can reserve it through the OPAC system or at the circulation desk. You will be notified via email or SMS when the book becomes available. Reserved books are held for 3 days.
